A Sexy Amusement Park is Coming to Brazil

Step aside Disney, there may be a new happiest place on earth: It was announced today that Brazil is opening a sex-themed amusement park called ErotikaLand.

What’s not allowed at the play land is any actual nookie. “If attendees want to take things to another level, they can go to a nearby motel,” Mauro Morata, the businessman in charge of the project, told the New York Times. “Which we will operate.”

Morata says the park will create 250 new jobs and will be a place to teach people about sex and the history of sexuality. Workers will also encourage condom use. Morata added, “This won’t be a place for nuns, but it’s not like we’re trying to recreate Sodom and Gomorrah.”

Located near the city of Piracicaba, the adults-only amusement park will feature an erotic sculpture park, genitalia-shaped rides, a museum, and snack bar serving aphrodisiac dishes. The $100 admission fee will also include access to a “7D” cinema complete with vibrating seats, as well as to a “train of pleasure” with gogo boys and girls, a nudist pool, and a “sex playground.”

While some are excited about the park set to open in 2018, others are concerned about the message it’s sending. “We cannot be known as the capital of sex,” Piracicaba City Council member Matheus Erler said to the paper.
