The Atlas Mountains reward their visitors with a stunning combination of valleys, summits, and traditional villages clinging to mountainsides. On this active adventure through one of Morocco’s most naturally beautiful regions, you’ll experience magnificent views and enjoy meeting local people along the trail. From the comfort of your cozy accommodation recount the day’s exploits while enjoying home-cooked dinners each night. Designed with the outdoor enthusiast in mind, the challenging but rewarding hikes are taken at a leisurely pace, allowing plenty of time to catch your breath, then the chance to lose it all over again while admiring the stunning views.


Day 1 Marrakech

Arrive at any time.Included Activities:Arrival Day and Welcome Meeting

Day 2 Marrakech/Aroumd (1B, 1D)

Today, opt to purchase a cooked lunch at the gîte before setting off for your a hike.Additional Notes:Accommodation here is multi-share with 3 or 4 beds in each dormitory/room. Bedding is provided but you will need to bring a sleeping bag for additional warmth if travelling in the months Nov-April. You will need to bring your own bath towel. Day 3 Aroumd (1B, 1L, 1D)

Hike to Tizi ‘n Tamatert through the spectacular mountain landscapes.Additional Notes:Bring a small daypack to carry essential items including water, a hat, sunscreen, and a fleece or jacket. Supplies for a picnic lunch will be carried by mule. Included Activities:High Atlas Trek: Tizi ‘n Tamatert

Day 4 Aroumd (1B, 1L, 1D)

Lace up those hiking boots for another day of exploring the High Atlas Mountains.Included Activities:High Atlas Trek: Tizi ‘n M’zik

Day 5 Aroumd (1B, 1L, 1D)

Should you prefer to do some more walking, there may be an opportunity to hike through the villages of the valley (depending on the availability of extra guides).Included Activities:Berber Community Visit

Day 6 Aroumd/Marrakech (1B)
